Design training that works: Actionable UX Methodology. Tangible design deliverables. Immediate Impact.
Artificial Intelligence is here. Will your company profit from it? Or lose it all trying to adjust to the "New Normal"?
Greg is an excellent user experience researcher with many insightful ideas around how to improve user experience. Greg has a rare talent in providing actionable design recommendations that effectively solved usability issues and improved user experience. Besides, Greg is an expert in conducting participatory design sessions and has championed the use of innovative visual aids to communicate design recommendations. Greg is also known as a genuine person whose warmth and sense of humor are missed very much at eBay.
Greg is one of those visionary UX leaders who can transform a simple idea into a state-of-the-art experience. His laser focus on users and letting the users decide the good from the bad differentiates him from most of the UXers out there. His in-depth understanding of technology stacks and a voracious appetite to learn new trends positions him into the most needed leadership space between Photoshop UXers and UI Architects/developers. In my group, Greg was pretty much responsible for changing the culture from a dev-driven-ux-consulted to a ux-driven-customer-empathy one by consistently taking on vision leadership and not giving up till everyone was on-board. Greg's contribution to my team has been exemplary not only in terms of vision and execution but also in upskilling and mentorship of his team.
My experience with working with Greg was extremely positive. Not only is he the Yoda of design, he also is an all around great guy. Kind, helpful, reliable- you name it! I'm sure Greg will continue to excel and push his boundaries of excellence in all his future UI endeavors.
Greg is a master of mobile interaction design. Even though we knew what we wanted in our mobile solution, his seminar… brought to our attention certain aspects of the interaction and testing we didn't consider. I highly recommend Greg to anybody who is working on a mobile solution.
Not only is Greg a really good guy, with an easy smile, a great laugh, and keen sense of humor, he is one of the most talented UX designers I have had the pleasure of working with. He's a real design master- deeply experienced in the art and science of human-computer interaction. It was a pleasure working with Greg at Ketera and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of thorough, thoughtful application design solutions.
Taking your class was one of the best things I did to jump my career forward. For that, I am ever so grateful for your time and energy!
Greg was hired by Associated Press to help make sense of AP's product search methodologies and practices. Greg produced fantastic results by delivering timely user-centered design solutions, absorbed input from users' and business needs and quickly refined his solutions accordingly. His work has advanced AP's product development across the enterprise.
Greg is an excellent technologist. Besides delivering top quality applications, he showed leadership in the areas of user interface research and design as well as release process design.
Greg's Designing for Mobile workshop at Marquette was the best hands-on workshop I've attended this year. In seven hours, Greg loaded us up with useful tools and design patterns sharing the knowledge he gained designing for firms like E-bay, Groupon, and Wells Fargo. He really knows his stuff. I highly recommend his workshop.
It was a privilege to take a class at Hult International Business School with Greg. He walked us through the process of app creation and improvement using creative and engaging techniques. His course provided knowledge and feedback on UX design and functionality through storyboarding and analysis. It was an excellent introduction to the world of apps and UX design. If given the opportunity, I would absolutely take another course from Greg.
Greg designed a lot of improvements that made the user experience way more involving and efficient. We are not talking about just visual embellishment here, this app was about interacting at once with a hundred thousand live data items! Greg is a genius in making extremely complex user interaction just simple and effective! Beside his UI design capabilities, Greg is a great person to work with, really able to collect and synthesize the contribution of multiple and non-technical sources in a superior form.
Greg brings fresh out-of-the-box thinking to the UX design process and truly understands what it means to put the customer first. The wealth of experience he brings to the table from designing successful search and e-commerce systems is invaluable. He's a pleasure to work with and comes highly recommended.
Upcoming videoconference: "Designing Conversational Interfaces", November 14th, 11am ET
Greg hosts the discussion of key aspects of the conversational bot experience and conversational UI best practices. You'll learn: how to pick the right bot framework, how to use basic building blocks of bot dialog (Intents, Entities, Dialogs) to create conversational UIs, and the key importance of context and channels (Mobile, Wearables, etc.) for shaping the conversational experience. We'll spend the bulk of time on what is "right around the bend" in the near-future of conversational UIs. From practical tips you can put to work immediately, to inspiration for your next project, be prepared to come away saying "Bot Future so Bright, Gotta Wear Ear-Muffs!"
