Hello Yeah It should show yous brand & model number. If your PC doesn't have the recovery division, you volition need a restore CD to restore back to manufacturing plant. Here's means to set up HP back to factory. You lot can detect restore disks for XP on amazon. They are very cheap.

I don't use Belarc Advisior. I use Speccy.
No! You don't clone a OS. You lot clone the Hard Drive. Yous need a 3rd party paradigm plan like Macrium Reverberate to create a clone. You lot could attempt to clean the PC if it's infected. That's a whole different ball game.

I will "try" Speccy, thanks & ok.

Seems like that isn't an ideal use of an old calculator (storing pictures), since you lot can just accomplish this with an external hard drive or even USB stick. Nonetheless, if that is really all you desire to exercise with it you could consider a low-cal linux distribution such as PuppyLinux , you tin can store your photos with that and have a fully functional OS that can be networked without the security concerns that XP brings.

Fully understand. At the time of that postal service, I had no idea the harddrive is only 185 gb's. Its been a pain just finding programs to use on it to become it clean . I think I'll run across if @Broni can go it clean for me & go from there. I was hoping to reset it to manufactory setting instead of cleaning information technology only........Thanks for your input, I appreciate information technology.

I don't think it is worth 'cleaning' to still stop upwardly with an OS that isn't receiving support/updates anymore. You could probably find an iso of XPSP3 online somewhere or buy ane from eBay and accomplish your goal quicker and with less headaches than trying to clean a compromised OS. (just I nevertheless think the all-time option if you want to take the computer able to do real work would exist to run a lightweight linux)

Thanks, I may just attempt Linux after all

Seems like that isn't an platonic use of an onetime computer (storing pictures), since you can just achieve this with an external hard drive or even USB stick. However, if that is really all you want to practice with it you could consider a calorie-free linux distribution such as PuppyLinux , you can store your photos with that and take a fully functional Os that can be networked without the security concerns that XP brings.

I'1000 existence totally honest when I say I know zero about Linux. That said, if you could give me a stride by footstep instructions on how to install PuppyLinux on my WXP Professional person, I'd appreciate it. I exercise take some cd/rw & I think some CDR discs

Thank you for your respond. I would suggest yous install a Linux OS, or clean information technology up and then stay off the cyberspace, because XP is no longer supported by MS and yous volition be exposed to all kinds of ransomware and other malware. I prefer UBUNTU. https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop
Good luck!
